Teamleader Aranäs Gothia Cup 2019 Frida Jensen gave an interview to Spartak Tashkent website and told about the tournament, Kungsbacka and our team.
Hello, Frida! Let’s talk about Gothia Cup. What is Gothia Cup?
Gothia Cup is the world’s biggest tournament. And it’s a place where people come together from all over the world to play football and unite around that. People get friends for life.
And what is Gothia Cup for you?
Gothia Cup for me is a big part. When I was a little I was playing at Gothia Cup a lot. And I’ve been playing football a big part of my life. So, for me to work at Gothia Cup is just really fun and I’ve been here for 10 years.
Why do you think teams should choose Kungsbacka as a location to come and live here during the Gothia Cup?
Because first of all – Aranäs! And Aranäs volunteer team. And second of all, because it’s a little bit outside. So, you can choose and you can go whatever you want to, and then come back and relax. And I think, it’s an advantage. And it’s really near to the pitches.
I will add, that this is second time we come here because of you. We came here last year and it was amazing. We were impressed by team of volunteers, because of the family atmosphere. It was really fun, it was interesting for our guys, for coaches and everyone. That’s why we came here again and I hope we will come next year, if we will participate.

Thank you! So, what do you think about our team?
I think, they are very organized. I think, that’s because they have really good coaches. And we can see them every morning doing morning practice. They are very polite. And I think this is a good team.
Last year we finished in 1/8 of play-off A. This year – in 1/16 of play-off A. What do you think is not enough for our team?
I’m not a coach. But maybe, they should have a different attitude, more fighting attitude.
